Our fishing pools are open from dawn until dusk every day. they have disabled access and are close to the car park. The pools are available to hire for matches. If you would like a match organised please feel free to contact John Potts on 01432 830 787. The ponds are stocked with all varieties of carp . The ponds also stock tench, dace, roach, bream,perch and rudd.
You can expect to catch fish upwards of 8-10 lbs fairly regularly, so bring a strong line. Due to the considerable size of some of the fish it is advisable that a minimum poundage of 10lb line be used, if targeting the larger specimen carp.No keep nets allowed unless by prior arrangement for a bona fide match.All anglers must have their own landing net.
The record match bag total is 308lb-Summer 2008.
